HCPA, LLC enters into new Global Risk arrangement with BCBS of Massachusetts
HCPA, LLC has become one of only two physician groups in the state to enter into a new contract with BCBS that is focused on improving quality and reducing the rate of increasing health care costs. Having experienced much success in providing care under a similar type of arrangement with Medicare, HCPA, LLC is looking forward to working with BCBS of Massachusetts as well as other providers on this initiative. “The new model, along with including some current proven patient care processes, is based upon a fixed health care budget, expanding the “team” approach to delivering coordinated care and strong focus on preventive services and improved outcomes,” says Robert J. Suchecki, CEO. The new program is effective January 1, 2009.
